Saudi Transport Ministry withdraws 17 projects from distressed contractors, completes 7 in Makkah

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Transport withdrew 17 projects from distressed contractors and completed seven projects in Makkah, Al-Madina newspaper reported, citing a ministry statement.

 

These projects were awarded again to other contractors despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, seven development projects were 100% complete in the region.

 

The complete projects included the Jeddah-Makkah Road, the second ring road in Jeddah and the fifth ring road in Makkah.
