Saudi Arabia records 1,142 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,142 COVID-19 cases today, May 22, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 439,847, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,089, raising the total number of recovered cases to 423,795 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 8,815, of which 1,329 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,237.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 336, followed by Makkah (250), Eastern Province (158), Madinah (97), and Asir (60).
