Saudi Research and Media Group reappoints chairman, vice chairman

Saudi Research and Media Group’s (SRMG) board of directors reappointed Abdulrahman Ibrahim Rwaita (non-executive) as chairman, and Majed Al Essa (independent) as vice-chairman for the current three-year term that started on May 21, 2021, according to a bourse filing.

 

The board also approved the formation of the executive committee, naming Abdulrahman Rwaita (non-executive) as the committee chairman, as well as Abdul Aziz Hamad Al-Fahd (non-executive), Mousa Omran Al Omran (independent) and Jomana Rashed AlRashid (executive) as members.

 

The remuneration and nominations committee was also formed. Mohiuddin Saleh Kamel (non-executive) was appointed as the committee chairman, with Turki Omar Buqshan (non-executive) and Abdullah Sulaiman Alrabaian (independent) as members.

 

On the other hand, the board approved appointing Turki Buqshan as the audit committee chairman, as approved earlier by shareholders in the extraordinary general meeting (EGM), held on April 29, 2021.
