Saudi Arabia records 1,389 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,389 COVID-19 cases today, May 25, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 443,460, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 912, raising the total number of recovered cases to 426,589 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 9,593, of which 1,348 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,278.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 422, followed by Riyadh (380), Eastern Province (163), Madinah (105), Asir (67) and Jazan (66).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 88,180 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 17.7 million.

 

More than 13.10 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
