Saudi Arabia records 1,183 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,183 COVID-19 cases today, May 27, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 445,963, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,040, raising the total number of recovered cases to 428,502 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,309.

 

Active cases totaled 10,152, of which 1,353 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 342, followed by Makkah (317), Eastern Province (160), Madinah (77) and Asir (63).

 

The Kingdom conducted 86.630 new tests, bringing up the total number to 18.89 million.  

 

More than 13.51 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
