Saudi Arabia records 1,215 COVID-19 cases on Friday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,215 COVID-19 cases today, May 28, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 447,178, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,161, raising the total number of recovered cases to 429,663 (96% of total COVID-19 cases). 

 

The Kingdom reported 11 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,320.

 

Active cases totaled 10,195, of which 1,355 cases are critical. 

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 345, followed by Makkah (324), Eastern Province (145), Madinah (96) and Asir (80).

 

The Kingdom conducted 92,600 new tests, bringing up the total number to 18.97 million.

 

More than 13.65 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
