GACA notifies air carriers to lift restrictions for travelers from 11 countries

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) issued a circular for air carriers in Saudi airports to lift travel ban on travelers from 11 countries.

 

The authority clarified that the travel ban was lifted for passengers traveling from the UAE, Germany, the United States, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, UK, Sweden, Switzerland, France, and Japan.

 

The step came after the stability in the pandemic situation in some countries and the effectiveness of pandemic control in others, GACA said, pointing out the need to adhere to the procedures to be followed and follow-up on the mechanism updates and procedures of institutional quarantine for those who apply to them from those countries.
