Shams appoints Abdullah Al Zarah as chairman

Tourism Enterprise Co.’s (Shams) board of directors appointed Abdullah bin Nasser Al Zarah as chairman and Abdullah bin Omar Al-Suwailem as vice chairman and managing director for the three-year term starting May 28, 2021.

 

The other new members are Rashid bin Sulaiman Al-Rasheed (independent), Khaled bin Munif Al-Soor (independent), Fahd bin Abdullah Al Samih (independent), Ahmad bin Abdul-Latif Al-Barrak (independent), and Faisal bin Mohamed Al Harbi (independent).

 

Mohamed bin Saleh Al Shtiwy was appointed as board secretary.

 

Furthermore, Abdullah bin Omar Al-Suwailem and Mohamed bin Saleh Al Shtiwy were appointed as the company's representatives to the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), respectively.

 

The company's shareholders elected a new board of directors for the upcoming three-year term during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on May 27.
