Aljazira Takaful appoints vice chairman, 4 board members

Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Co. appointed Khalid Al Othman (non-executive member) as the board vice chairman starting May 30, 2021, after receiving the no-objection letter from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

He replaces Ziad Tareq Aba Al Khail (non-executive member), who resigned on March 30, 2021, the insurer said in a statement to Tadawul today, May 31, 2021.

 

Al Othman holds a master's degree in business administration from the London Business School and has managerial experience spanning more than 24 years in the banking sector.

 

In a separate bourse filing, the company said it received a no-objection letter from SAMA for the appointment for four board members from May 30, 2021, to fill the vacant seats in completion of its board session ending July 1, 2022.

 

The members are Abdulelah Ibrahim Al Qassimi, Ashraf Adnan Bseiso and Nayif Mesnad Al-Mesnad (non-executives), and Ibrahim Mohamed Al-Hurabi (independent).
