Saudi Cabinet amends water conservation regulations

Saudi Cabinet approved amending Paragraph No. 4 of the regulations for water consumption and conservation in the agricultural field across the Kingdom.

 

The new amendment, as reported by Umm Al-Qura newspaper, noted the following: “This does not include the planted vegetables in open areas in the Arabian Shield region. The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture sets the required regulations for the export of these products, in line with food and water security.”
