Saudi Arabia records 1,161 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,161 COVID-19 cases today, June 7, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 458,707, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,216, raising the total number of recovered cases to 441,860 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 9,376, of which 1,579 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,471.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 438, followed by Riyadh (204), Eastern Province (178), and then Madinah and Asir with 81 each.

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 86,070 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 19.84 million.

 

Almost 15.01 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
