Saudi Arabia records 1,109 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,109 COVID-19 cases today, June 14, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 466,906, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,148, raising the total number of recovered cases to 449,241 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,075, of which 1,596 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 18 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,590.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 359, followed by Riyadh (221), Eastern Province (189), Asir (85), Jazan (68), and Madinah (67).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 83,370 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 20.44 million.

 

Almost 15.87 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
