Saudi Arabia records 1,212 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,212 COVID-19 cases today, June 21, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 475,403, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,510, raising the total number of recovered cases to 457,128 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,584, of which 1,489 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,691.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 376, followed by Riyadh (233), Eastern Province (224), Asir (103), Jazan (80), and Madinah (66).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 84,650 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 20.96 million.

 

Almost 16.67 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
