The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced, on June 25, the launch of the second phase for 1442H Hajj registration on the e-portal, starting from 2:00 p.m.

The ministry added that it sent text messages to the qualified applicants for the second phase of registration. The selected pilgrims should access the portal to verify their personal data and accept the terms and conditions.

The qualified pilgrims can add one companion who previously applied for the Hajj registration and then review the available packages and book the appropriate package. Then, they need to pay service fees through SADAD electronic payment system. The last step is the issuance of Hajj permits.

The ministry confirmed that the final acceptance depends on the fulfillment of requirements, criteria, and availability of spaces.

On June 24, the ministry announced the end of registration on the e-portal for this year's Hajj, noting that the number of applicants in the first phase reached 558,200, of whom 59% are males and 41% are females.
