Saudi Arabia records 1,567 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,567 COVID-19 cases today, June 29, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 486,106, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,032, raising the total number of recovered cases to 466,578 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 11,724, of which 1,406 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,804.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 403, followed by Riyadh (328), Eastern Province (326), Asir (173), Jazan (94), and Madinah (73).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 109,200 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 21.80 million.

 

Almost 17.59 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
