Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at 10,984 points, a rise of 3,760 pts, or 52.05% year-on-year (YoY) in the first half of 2021, according to Tadawul statistical report.
TASI hit the highest close of 10,996 pts on June 29, 2021.
Total market capitalization reached SAR 9.722 trillion, increasing by 18.09% YoY.
The total value of shares traded during the first quarter stood at SAR 1.339 billion, a rise of 62.29% YoY.
The total volume reached 42.50 billion shares in the same period, compared to 28.82 billion shares traded in H1 2020, an increase of 47.48%.
The total number of transactions executed during the first half reached 52.19 million, rising 103.74% YoY from 25.62 million a year earlier.
