The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah completed the transformation of nine Arbab Al-Tawaif Establishments into joint stock companies, to strengthen the institutional work that aims to provide various services to pilgrims.
The move comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to improve the Hajj and Umrah sector services, after holding the first and second founding assemblies, and voting completion on the founding clauses, SPA reported.
Abdulfattah Mashat, Vice Minister of Hajj and Umrah, said the transformation will help diversify investment fields and partnerships, which will in turn reflect positively on the shareholders of those companies. It will also allow these companies to expand their investments.
The institutional transformation will effectively contribute to providing high-quality services for pilgrims and enhancing the Kingdom’s pivotal role in serving pilgrims, Mashat added.
