Saudi Arabia records 1,277 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,277 COVID-19 cases today, July 6, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 495,309, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,080, raising the total number of recovered cases to 475,448 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 11,954, of which 1,363 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 16 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,907.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 328, followed by Eastern Province (264), Makkah (240), Asir (134), Najran (88), Jazan (59), Northern Borders (50) and Madinah (35).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 102,890 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 22.48 million.

 

Almost 18.80 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
