Land port linking Oman, Saudi Arabia to be unveiled before year-end: official

The land port linking Oman and Saudi Arabia will be inaugurated before the end of 2021, Al Arabiya.net reported, citing Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom.

The port will set up a new partnership between the two countries as it is considered the starting point to work on providing many services, opportunities and qualitative shifts on which the private sector depends at all levels, he added.

On the trade exchange between the two countries, Al Said indicated that it is considered modest.

There are discussions that will carry an economic qualitative leap between the two countries, he further commented.
