Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.
1) United Electronics Co. (eXtra) reported a 45% rise year-on-year (YoY) in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 181.7 million for the first half of 2021.
2) Arabian Shield Cooperative Insurance Co. signed a binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Alahli Takaful Co. (ATC).
3) Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. signed a Sharia-compliant credit facility agreement to reschedule an existing loan, worth SAR 67.5 million, with Al Rajhi Bank.
4) eXtra’s board of directors declared a 20% cash dividend (SAR 2 per share) for H1 2021, amounting to SAR 120 million.
5) Saudi Electricity Co.’s (SEC) operational plans for the Hajj season 1442 AH are complete through the implementation of new projects in Makkah region and the holy sites, with a value exceeding SAR 480 million.
6) Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) extended the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with King Saud University Health Co. for a period of 90 days, starting July 12.
7) Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. announced the partners’ decision to liquidate International Advertising Services Co. (Intermarkets), activities of which had been suspended since Jan. 18, 2012.
8) Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Co. rights trading period ended on July 12.
9) Brent crude on Tuesday gained 17 cents to reach $75.33 per barrel. WTI crude also increased 20 cents to reach $74.30/bbl.
