Saudi Arabia records 1,226 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,226 COVID-19 cases today, July 14, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 504,960, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,128, raising the total number of recovered cases to 486,011 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,929, of which 1,430 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,020.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 334, followed by Makkah (260), Eastern Province (158), Asir (140), Al Qassim (93), and Madinah (56).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 104,310 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 23.41 million.

 

Almost 20.81 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
