Saudi Energy Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, said that “consensus building is an art” in response to a media question on the OPEC+ recent agreement on increasing monthly supply.

“The deal is evidence of the strong bonds between members and shows OPEC+ is here to stay,” he added.

"What bonds us together is way beyond what you imagine. You assume that we lack our advantage of being mysterious and clever," Prince Abdulaziz said.

“Am I right, Suhail?” Prince Abdulaziz asked UAE Energy Minister Suhail Al-Mazrouei.

“100% your highness,” Al-Mazrouei replied.

OPEC and allied nations agreed on Sunday to eventually raise the production limits imposed on five countries, ending an earlier dispute sparked by the UAE that roiled global energy prices.

The disagreement, sparked by a demand by the UAE to increase its own production, temporarily upended an earlier meeting of the cartel. In a statement Sunday, the group announced that Iraq, Kuwait, Russia, Saudi Arabia and UAE would see their limits rise.
