Saudi Arabia records 1,256 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,256 COVID-19 cases today, July 24, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 516,949, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,155, raising the total number of recovered cases to 497,965 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,829, of which 1,385 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,155.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 280, followed by Makkah (244), Eastern Province (170), Asir (150), Jazan (107), Al Qassim (83) and Madinah (59).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 89,000 new tests, and the total number of administered doses increased to 24.1 million.
