Saudi Arabia will begin, tomorrow, Aug. 1, applying the decision on making COVID-19 vaccination mandatory to enter the government and private entities.
The Ministry of Interior earlier announced that citizens and residents must show their vaccination status via the “Tawakkalna” app to participate in any economic, commercial, cultural, entertainment, or sports activity. This is also a prerequisite for participating in any cultural, scientific, social or entertainment event, entering any public or private entity for review or doing business, and using public transportation, according to data compiled by Argaam.
The ministries and government entities expressed their readiness to apply the decision, including the Ministry of Commerce.
