Saudi Arabia records 1,043 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,043 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 4, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 529,995, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,211, raising the total number of recovered cases to 511,318 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,393, of which 1,396 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,284.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 214, followed by Riyadh (192), Eastern Province (169), Asir (126), Jazan (92), and Madinah (65).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 106,520 new tests, and the total number of administered doses increased to 28.42 million.
