United International Transportation Co.’s (Budget Saudi) shareholders approved the appointment of Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Ghannam, a non-executive board member, as an audit committee member, during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on Aug. 5, according to a bourse filing.
Al-Ghannam’s appointment will be effective as of June 24, 2021 until end of the current three-year term on June 20, 2024. He will replace committee member Samir Saud Samman.
Shareholders also ratified increasing the number of audit committee seats from three to five, by appointing Mohammed Alotaibi, a non-board member, and Adeeb Mohammed Abanmi, a non-board member, as audit committee members from the date of the general meeting’s approval until end of current board term.
