Cabinet approves rules for regulating free, open-source govt software

The Cabinet, in a meeting chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud today, Aug. 10, approved the rules for regulating free and open-source government software.

 

The Cabinet also approved a partnership agreement between the Royal Commission for Riyadh City and the World Council on City Data to establish, manage, and operate the local data center for Riyadh, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

 

In addition, the Cabinet approved the waste management system, as well as amendments of subparagraph (A) of Paragraph (5) of Item (First) of the working mechanism of the Real Estate Contributions Committee, to be as stated in the decision.
