Saudi Arabia records 609 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 609 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 14, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 537,983, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,651, raising the total number of recovered cases to 522,009 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 7,575, of which 1,360 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 11 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,399.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 161, followed by Makkah (106), Eastern Province (74), Jazan (55), Asir (48), Al Qassim (42), and Madinah (30).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 70,000 new tests over the last 24 hours, and the total number of administered doses increased to 31.5 million.
