Care reviews strategic plans, focuses on improving operational efficiency: CEO

National Medical Care Co. (Care) is reviewing its strategic plans and focusing on improving operational efficiency within its business units, said Chief Executive Officer Abdulaziz Saleh Alobaid.

 

In a call to discuss the second quarter 2021 results, Alobaid said the company is still exploring potential opportunities for the future, whether locally or abroad.

 

Riyadh Care Hospital and the National Hospital saw a 100% increase in outpatient and emergency visits during Q2 2021 compared to the same quarter last year, the CEO added, noting that the average occupancy rate in the two hospitals was about 74%.

 

Care reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 66.5 million for the first half of 2021, a 13% increase from SAR 58.9 million in the same period last year. Q2 net profit stood at SAR 30.7 million.
