Saudi Arabia records 409 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 409 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 21, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 541,610, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 710, raising the total number of recovered cases to 527,899 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 6,242, of which 1,162 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 11 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,469.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 126, followed by Makkah (66), Eastern Province (40), Jazan (39), Al Qassim and Asir (41 each), then Madinah (20).
