Etihad Atheeb shareholders reject discharging board members from liabilities for FY2020/21

Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co.’s (GO) shareholders rejected discharging members of the board of directors from liabilities for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2021, during the ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) held on Aug. 25, the company said in a bourse statement.

 

Shareholders approved rest of the items on the agenda, including the business contracts between the company and Bahrain Telecommunications Co. (Batelco) and licensing for the coming year coming, represented by the two board members, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Isa Abbas Alsabaea, who have an indirect interest in it.

 

The contract is about passing and transferring the traffic of mutual international calls between the two companies, and compensation for administrative fees for bank guarantees and without any preferential advantages.

 

The transactions for the previous year are a debit of SAR 42.6 million and a creditor of SAR 29.7 million.
