Saudi Arabia records 221 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 221 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 30, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 544,225, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 386, raising the total number of recovered cases to 532,512 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 3,174, of which 927 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported seven new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,539.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 66, followed by Makkah (36), Eastern Province (21), Jazan (20), Al Qassim (19), then Asir and Madinah (15).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 54,230 new tests over the last 24 hours, and the total number of administered doses increased to 36.67 million.
