Saudi Arabia recorded 185 COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 1, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 544,634, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Thus, the number of new infections reached its lowest since Jan. 18, 2021.

 

Recoveries reached 301, raising the total number of recovered cases to 533,151 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 2,931, of which 867 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported seven new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,552.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 58, followed by Makkah (34), Eastern Province and Jazan (15 each), and Madinah (12).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 59,530 new tests over the last 24 hours, and the total number of administered doses increased to 37.23 million.
