AXA Insurance announces board member resignations, appointments

AXA Cooperative Insurance Co. announced changes in its board of directors, after Gulf Insurance Group (GIG) completed 100% acquisition of AXA Gulf – which owns 32% of AXA Cooperative, according to a statement on Tadawul today, Sept. 7.

 

Accordingly, AXA Insurance (Gulf) Co. B.S.C. and AXA Mediterranean Holding S.A representatives resigned from AXA Insurance’s board and GIG representatives were appointed, effective Sept. 6, 2021.

 

Resigning members include Nicolas De Nazelle, Stephen Wagstaff, Ali Abdulla Kanoo, and Matthieu Bebear.

 

Members appointed are Osama Kamela Kishk, Bijan Khosrowshahi, Jean Cloutier, and Farid Saber.

The decision on appointments is not final and will be presented at the first general assembly meeting for approval, the statement said.
