Saif Dhaheri, the Spokesperson for the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), said that travelers to the UAE from the GCC can use the COVID-19 applications, which are adopted by the Ministry of Health in each country.

The new apps will be used to show the status of vaccination and tests outside the UAE, with the adherence of those arriving from the GCC countries with the UAE protocols, which include the conducting of the COVID-19 PCR tests in line with the protocols applied by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).

The new apps will be used to access all sites that apply the “Green Pass” system, Dhaheri added in a media briefing today, Sept. 7.
