The Capital Market Authority (CMA) discussed with State Properties General Authority (SPGA) the possibility of listing the first real estate investment trust (REIT) to acquire government property, said CMA Chairman Mohammed Elkuwaiz.
In a meeting with SPGA Governor Ihsan Bafakih, Elkuwaiz highlighted the cooperation between the two authorities, as part of joint efforts to integrate roles between the government sectors, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The two parties also discussed the joint strategic goals, in addition to shedding light on SPGA's roles and initiatives that aim to keep the state property and boost its productive and economic efficiency through providing innovative solutions.
