Global index provider FTSE Russell said it will implement changes to the FTSE Saudi Arabia Inclusion Index Series today, Sept. 16, during the semi-annual review for its indices.
The global index compiler added Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corp. (SPIMACO) and United Electronics Co. (eXtra) to FTSE All-World (Large/Mid Cap) and Mid-Cap Index, after been moved from the Small-Cap Index.
Theeb Rent a Car Co. and Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) were added to the FTSE Global Micro Cap Index Series (Micro Cap), while Halwani Bros. Co. and Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SISCO) were excluded.
All constituent changes will become effective on Friday, Sept. 17. As Friday is the beginning of weekend in Saudi Arabia, the changes will be implemented today.
All changes will be effective as of Monday, Sept. 20.
