Saudi Arabia’s gross domestic product (GDP) per capita reached SAR 20,605 in Q2 2021, compared to SAR 16,115 a year earlier, data issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) showed.
The second-quarter GDP per capita is the highest since Q4 2019, when it reached SAR 22,292.
Saudi GDP increased by 30% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 735.03 billion in the second quarter of 2021.
GDP is the final expenditure at buyers' prices, and includes government final consumption expenditure, private final consumption expenditure, gross capital formation, and net exports (exports minus imports).
