The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) issued a circular to all airlines operating at the Kingdom's airports, including private carriers, regarding procedures to verify immunization status of residents before they board a flight to Saudi Arabia.

A resident needs to present the immunization status through Tawakkalna application, or submit proof of immunization at the arrival terminal, the circular specified.

Legal action will be taken against violators, GACA noted, while underlining the importance of the circulars issued.
