Saudi Arabia has administered 41.38 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to date, according to the latest official data issued by the Ministry of Health.
The number of persons who received the first and second doses reached 23.2 million and 18.1 million, respectively. Meanwhile, a total of 1.645 million aged persons were vaccinated.
The ministry stated that more than 49,000 new doses were offered to residents and citizens in the last 24 hours.
On Dec. 17, the ministry launched the first phase of COVID-19 vaccination campaign, followed by the second phase on Feb. 18.
