Kafalah says 456 women-owned establishments secure SAR 432 mln financing in H1 2021

Small and Medium Enterprises Loan Guarantee Program (Kafalah) announced that nearly 456 establishments, owned by businesswomen, obtained SAR 432 million financing in H1 2021, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.    

 

Kafalah program was mainly directed to five sectors, namely, the wholesale trade (215 establishments), catering and hotels (64), manufacturing industries (38), construction (32), and administrative and support services (22).  

   

Riyadh received the highest Kafalah support with 151 establishments, or 33% of the total, securing SAR 178 million in financing. Makkah came second with 115 establishments, or 25%, receiving SAR 97 million. The Eastern Province came third, with 102 establishments, or 22%, receiving SAR 99 million.
