Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.
1) Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co.’s (Al Othaim) shareholders elected new board of directors for the three-year term, starting Oct. 3, 2021.
2) Alkhaleej Training and Education Co. announced extending the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with Al-Enjaz National Schools Co. Ltd. to acquire 85% of the latter for 90 days as of Sept. 27.
3) Anaam International Holding Group announced that the MoU with Al Takamul National Agriculture Co. for the potential acquisition of 100% of the shares expired on Sept. 24.
4) Arriyadh Development Co. (ARDCO) appointed Jihad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Qadi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as of Dec. 1, 2021.
5) Musharaka Capital, the fund manager of Musharaka REIT Fund, announced that it completed the legal and regulatory procedures concerning the acquisition of Gardino Hotel in Riyadh.
6) Bank AlJazira signed a one-year bancassurance agreement with AlJazira Takaful Taawuni Co.
7) Jadwa Investment started on Sept. 26, the secondary offering of its Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund.
8) Brent crude on Monday gained 86 cents to reach $78.95 per barrel. WTI crude also increased 89 cents to reach $74.87/bbl.
