Hajj Ministry raises daily capacity to 160,000 pilgrims, worshippers

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced raising the daily capacity to 100,000 pilgrims and 60,000 worshippers, starting Oct 1.

 

The new capacity will be implemented in coordination with competent authorities, while implementing the COVID-19 precautionary measures, the ministry said on Twitter.

 

The daily capacity reached 70,000 pilgrims daily, divided into eight operating periods, according to data compiled by Argaam.
