10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.

 

1) International Company for Power and Water Projects (ACWA Power) completed the book-building process, according to Riyad Capital, Citigroup Saudi Arabia, JP Morgan Saudi Arabi, NATIXIS, the financial advisors, lead managers, bookrunners and underwriters for the initial public offering (IPO).

 

2) The Capital Market Authority (CMA) gave the go-ahead for Alkhaleej Training and Education Co. to proceed with its capital increase through SAR 200 million rights issue.

 

3) Savola Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Savola Foods Co. (SFC), obtained the approval of the General Authority for Competition (GAC) on the economic concentration related to Bayara Holding Ltd’s acquisition deal.

 

4) The Capital Market Authority (CMA) approved the request received from The Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co. (MEDGULF) for a SAR 420 million capital increase via rights issue.

 

5) MEFIC Capital announced the distribution of a 0.5% cash dividend, at SAR 0.05 per unit, to MEFIC REIT Fund unitholders for the first half of 2021.

 

6) Mouwasat Medical Services Co. completed the pilot operation of the expansion project for Mouwasat Hospital in Dammam.

 

7) Wafrah for Industry and Development Co. sold 18 land plots in Al Mohammadia Real Estate at 10,803.6 square meters to Omar Alshehri, for SAR 10.5 million plus SAR 525,000 in real estate transactions tax.

 

8) Riyad Capital announced that Riyad REIT Fund invested SAR 24 million in a headquarters office building in Brussels, Belgium.

 

9) Raydan Food Co. signed a franchise contract with Al-Raya Restaurants Co. Ltd. in Egypt to transform the units of its subsidiary into franchise branches. 

 

10) Brent crude on Friday gained 97 cents to reach $79.28 per barrel. WTI crude also increased 85 cents to reach $75.88/bbl.
