Saudi Arabia allowed the direct entry of certain groups into the Kingdom and lifted suspension on travel to Bahrain by citizens under 18 years, according to the Ministry of Interior source.
First: The Kingdom allowed direct entry for those traveling from countries facing travel bans, where passengers are required to spend 14 days between departure from their countries and arrival at the Kingdom. Institutional quarantine will apply to the following categories that will receive COVID-19 vaccination during the quarantine period:
- Teaching staff at universities, faculties and institutes;
- Teachers in the public education sector;
- The training authority at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and training institutes;
- Scholarship students.
- Those who have received one dose of vaccine or have completed receiving the two doses of the vaccine inside the Kingdom are excluded from the institutional quarantine, with their families and employees in the public and private sectors.
Second: The Kingdom lifted suspension on travel to Bahrain for citizens under 18 years, applying the previously-announced requirements for citizen travelling.
