Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef said that the National Investment Strategy (NIS) will lead to a qualitative shift in several sectors, including industry and mining.
“I sincerely thank the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for launching the National Investment Strategy, which will contribute to strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading investment destination and will bring about a qualitative investment shift in important sectors including industry and mining,” the minister said on his official Twitter account.
On Oct. 11, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman launched the NIS – a key enabler of the Vision 2030 objectives, according to data compiled by Argaam.
The strategy seeks to raise net foreign direct investment to SAR 388 billion annually and boost local investment to SAR 1.7 trillion annually by 2030.
