Economic and investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia have not been optimally exploited in the past years, Saad Alshahrani, Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs and Investment Studies at Ministry of Investment, said.

Speaking at a conference to introduce the National Investment Strategy (NIS) today, Oct. 13, Alshahrani said that NIS seeks to cover these investment gaps both at the sector and regional levels, stressing that the Kingdom is full of opportunities; therefore, these initiatives enable empowerment and development.

He explained that the ministry is working seriously with relevant entities to identify investment priorities both at the sector level and national targets through economic, financial and strategic evaluation.

Earlier this week, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman launched the NIS – a key enabler of the Vision 2030 objectives, according to data compiled by Argaam.
