Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi issued a decision to add four new penalties to the violation table as part of the Labor Law provisions, effective immediately, Okaz newspaper reported, citing unnamed sources.
The first violation includes allowing non-Saudi workers to directly work via the participatory e-portals; penalty set at SAR 20,000, based on the number of workers.
Meanwhile, the second violation is related to participatory e-portals' non-compliance with the ministry’s regulations used to verify the worker’s name; penalty set at SAR 10,000, based on the number of workers.
As for the third violation, it is about non-compliance of participatory e-portals and relevant establishments with the ministry’s directives, either by not informing the ministry of the required data or informing the ministry of incomplete data; penalty set at SAR 50,000, based on the number of workers.
The fourth volitation is related to non-compliance of participatory e-portals and relevant establishments with the ministry’s directives by informing the ministry with incorrect workers' data; penalty set at SAR 5,000, based on the number of workers.
