BinDawood Holding says easing COVID-19 precautions to boost Q4 2021 results

BinDawood Holding Co. said that Saudi Arabia’s decision to ease COVID-19 health protocols and allow full capacity attendance at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque is expected to have a positive impact on its Q4 2021 financial results, according to a bourse statement.  

 

However, it is difficult to determine the relevant financial impact at present, the statement added.

 

BinDawood operates eight stores in Makkah and Madinah that cater to the pilgrims’ needs.  

 

The company added that it expects a positive impact of the Kingdom’s decision to ease precautionary measures for fully vaccinated persons, on its operations.

 

Saudi Arabia announced easing of COVID-19 health protocols starting from today, Oct. 17, including lifting the outdoor mask mandates.

 

The Kingdom also approved allowing full capacity attendance at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, directing all workers and visitors to wear facemasks at all times, Argaam reported.
