The Future Investment Initiative Institute (FII) will launch several initiatives in healthcare, artificial intelligence (AI), social government, environment and education, the state-run Saudi Press Agency reported, citing CEO Richard Attias.
He added that work began locally and internationally, noting that the idea was born in the Kingdom and registered in the US, and an office will be opened in Asia.
The environmental and social governance is a framework, through which investors and executives evaluate risks that appear to be related to the environment, resource use and business relationships.
The governance and transparent leadership identify these risks and help companies to be stronger and better financially, the CEO said.
He added that the organization plans to engage actively in environmental social governance.
The organization announced it will host in Riyadh the Fourth Edition of FII conference, which will feature more than 140 prominent speakers on Jan. 27-28, Argaam earlier reported.
